Your role and responsibilities

As an Oracle Data Migration Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless data transfer and successful migration projects for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from legacy Oracle EBS systems to Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM.

• Performing data mapping, cleansing, and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Troubleshooting data migration issues and implementing corrective actions to resolve them.

• Writing PL/SQL code for data extraction, transformation, processing, and reconciliation reporting.

• Leveraging Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for efficient data migration and integration tasks.

• Executing reconciliation tasks to verify data integrity post-migration.

• Collaborating with functional teams to understand data structures and business rules.

• Documenting data migration processes, mappings, and validation steps for audit and reference purposes.

• Assisting in post-migration validation and support, ensuring data completeness and resolving any discrepancies.

• Adhering to data security and other compliance guidelines when handling client sensitive information.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Professional experience as an Oracle Data Migration Consultant.

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM.

• Strong expertise in ETL processes, data mapping, cleansing, and validation.

• Proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data migration issues.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
