Novotel London West is part of Accor, the leading global hospitality group. It is one of the largest conference and accommodation providers within Accor. The hotel provides the international business community with space for up to 3000 delegates across 33 meeting rooms. It accommodates both business and leisure guests in one of our 630 bedrooms.

Job Description

As our next MICE Sales Executive – Large Events , you will be responsible for fielding and responding to event enquiries (101 pax or more), converting them into bookings and then planning the event in conjunction with all relevant Hotel Departments. The MICE Executive is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out in accordance with Novotel standards and current legislation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Present a professional, friendly and efficient impression of the Hotel at all times.
  • Ensure that all tasks relating to guest comfort, guest satisfaction or the impression the guest receives of the Hotel are treated with utmost priority.
  • Be fully conversant with all facilities and services of the Novotel London West.
  • Field enquiries, check availability, quote accordingly, convert and then plan events at the Hotel.
  • Enter all enquiries, bookings, denials and cancellations into the appropriate Hotel’s diary system.
  • Respond to all enquiries via the appropriate channel and within the given deadline.
  • Liaise with all operational departments (e.g. Accounts, MICE Operations, Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage) to ensure that all requirements are met and revenue is maximised.
  • Be responsible for ensuring clients are invoiced correctly.
  • Attend any site visits, planning meetings, tastings or other occasions as required by a client.
  • Prepare and present the weekly Function Sheet on schedule.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties that may be required.
