Summary
The Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development is an innovative leader of the Human Resources and Service Excellence functions for the organization, developing the workforce necessary to fulfill the organization’s mission. In partnership with the VPHR, the Director provides daily operational support and direction as well as sets goals and is accountable for results differentiating RRMC as the employer of choice. The incumbent works collaboratively across all Human Resources disciplines (recruitment, compensation, benefits, leave management, employee & labor relations, HRIS, organizational development, leadership development, and service excellence) and interfaces with departmental leadership ensuring optimal relationships and lines of open communication are maintained. The Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development will continually be looking to maximize efficiency and the use of resources and modern technologies while providing a highly supportive environment for staff to excel. The incumbent is responsible for the development, revision, and implementation of human resources policies and programs and compliance activities with respect to the interpretation of relevant State and Federal laws and regulations to meet the organization’s needs and facilitate effective leadership.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Master’s degree in business administration, human resources management, or related field required.
  • Minimum Work Experience: 10 years of healthcare human resource management experience, to include 5 years at a Director level.
  • Required Licenses/Certifications: Professional certifications preferred.

  • Working knowledge of all HR functional areas with an emphasis on EEOC laws and requirements, federal and state employment laws, immigration requirements and ADA required.
  • Knowledgeable regarding budget development.
  • Expert knowledge of labor relations and a proven track record in rendering expert, consultative advice on labor issues.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.

Pay Range: $104,000 – $166,000
