We work very hard to provide our consumers with high-quality, exciting 5-star products that make life easier. We thrive on passion and innovation and are looking for great people, with great ideas, who want to build the next big thing and develop while they do.
About The Role
At Shark Ninja, we are committed to helping people achieve more than they ever thought possibleâto live and practice what we call an Outrageously Extraordinary (OE) mindset. The Talent Acceleration team is a strategic partner to the business and exists to help leaders and teams deliver outrageously extraordinary (OE) results through a mix of: (i) end to-end talent practices (e.g. onboarding, leader development); (ii) leader-led solutions, that are integrated into employeesâ day-to-day work (e.g. toolkits or resources deployed at team level); and (iii) longer term high impact initiatives (e.g. that look at how we drive impact to business ways of working). We are assembling an unstoppable team of talent practitioners within the team, who arenât constrained by the latest trends or conventional business dogma but are able to blend the pragmatism of âwhatâs right for our businessâ with a spirit of innovation that says, âhow might we make this extraordinary?â.
The Talent Acceleration, Operations (EMEA) role, is a key enabler for our EMEA team, to support a region that has seen fast business growth in recent years. Working across all our âproduct categoriesâ and initiatives (including, Leadership, Onboarding, Culture and Team Effectiveness), you ensure that these are executed flawlessly. This includes everything from being the EMEA point of contact for the overarching plans for both Global and regional initiatives, to inputting and supporting on local comms, to managing and overseeing local digital assets/materials. That said, for this role weâre looking for someone with a mix of project management as well as âcreative productionâ skill (e.g. youâll need to oversee EMEA event schedules but also think about how we ensure delivery is excellent and engaging). Youâll collaborate with colleagues in our Global People & Culture team (Needham, MA), and support with global initiatives (e.g. Digital Hub, Quarterly Hacks) as needed. This is a hybrid-based role, three days a week, in our iconic Battersea, London office.
Some of the exciting things youâll get to do:
- Mastermind Projects: Oversee day-to-day operations for EMEA. You’ll be the go-to person for EMEA when it comes to managing and executing projects across the portfolio. Your attention to detail will ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Strategic Support: Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide initiatives and projects.
- Data and Evaluation: Youâll be data savvy and think about how we are reporting on progress and telling the impact story in captivating ways.
- Innovative Solutions: When plans change, you’ll be ready with creative alternatives. Your experience in areas such as event management or production (just to give examples) will shine as you navigate challenges with ease.
- Digital Native: Youâll be a digital native or a fast learner when it comes to navigating technology or creative tools to ensure projects are led and run effectively. Working closely with team members in our HQ, youâll ensure our EMEA team are up to speed on how weâre using technology as a function.
- Resource Guru: You’ll make sure every event and initiative is fully equipped for success. From coordinating with local vendors, for region specific initiatives, to being the EMEA PoC when it comes to managing material needed for local delivery.
Here are some of the things youâll bring:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and navigates ambiguity well: For instance, you might have successfully led a project with tight deadlines and shifting requirements, ensuring timely delivery while adapting to new information and changes.
- The ability to self-manage, take initiative, and work independently: For example, you may have led projects where youâve taken a brief and built an end-to-end process, or identified a gap in an approach and helped plug this gap whilst collaborating closely with stakeholders throughout.
- Youâll balance a strong bias for action, with the need to develop high quality solutions: For example, you might have quickly developed a prototype to address an urgent audience need, while simultaneously planning for a more robust, long-term solution to ensure high quality and sustainability.
- Youâre humble and curious to learn: For example, youâll be someone who actively seeks out feedback without being asked and knows how to frame questions to get context (perhaps you have some experience in coaching or consulting, just as an example).
