Warehouse Operative with Forklift Licence Calne, Wiltshire £11.96 per hour Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:30 Overtime is sometimes required to cover holidays or meet deadlines. I have been instructed to recruit a motivated and experienced Warehouse Operative with Forklift Licence to join our client who are a leading manufacturing company based in Calne. The successful candidate will be responsible to accurately and efficiently hand pick customer orders using handheld scanners and Counterbalance Forklift for the safe and accurate movement of stock within the warehouse environment. Duties include: Works from picking lists, picks orders accurately and efficiently. Checks products for visual and physical defect or damage. Picks orders at varying heights using a picking platform. Participates in stock counts. Checks picking machinery for any problems/defects at the beginning of the shift and logs details on the relevant check sheets. Works in accordance with all health and safety instructions, notices, and safe working practices.Skills and Experience: Recent forklift/combi-lift/side loader experience is desirable, although full training will be provided. Excellent attention to detail, a careful, accurate approach to work and driving. Previous experience working in a warehouse environment beneficial.
