Animal Technician

Animal Technician Permanent We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Animal Technician to join our client on a permanent basis. Our client proudly holds years of successful experience in the Life Science industry, helping find cures and treatments for diseases such as cancer, HIV and dementia. The role of an Animal Technician includes routine animal husbandry for a range of animals. This includes feeding, handling and health checks. Our client offers thorough training to ensure you can reach your full potential in the role and in your progression. Your role: * Feeding and watering * General health checking * Handling animals * Cage cleaning and washing * Recording data * Reporting anything unusual to a senior member of staff What we're looking for: * A genuine passion for working with animals – demonstrating care, welfare, and compassion * Previous experience working with (and handling) animals * Flexible and adaptable Due to the location of the site, you must have a valid driver's license and access to a car.
