As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of water hygiene services, including monitoring, cleaning, and maintenance of water systems. Your role is crucial in preventing waterborne diseases and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations., * Monitoring and Testing: Conduct routine monitoring and testing of water systems for temperature and microbial content.

  • Cleaning and Disinfection: Perform cleaning and disinfection of water systems, including tanks, hot and cold water systems.

  • TMV servicing.

  • Remedial Works: Carry out remedial works as required to ensure water systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and produce detailed reports on all work carried out.

  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with current health and safety regulations and company standards.

  • Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, providing advice and recommendations on maintaining water hygiene.

  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry best practices and regulations.

  • Experience: At least 2 years previous experience in water hygiene or a related field (5 years preferably).

  • Skills: Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and implement water hygiene protocols.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.

  • Driving Licence: Full, clean UK driving licence.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
