Are you detail-obsessed, proactive, and ready to take ownership of financial processes? As the Finance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping the financial operations running smoothly. Working closely with senior finance leaders, you’ll become the go-to for problem-solving and process improvements., * Purchase Ledger & Expenses (40%) – Process supplier invoices with accuracy, ensuring correct currency, VAT rates, and additional charges. Identify and resolve discrepancies, liaise with suppliers, and maintain a clear audit trail for all transactions.

Credit Control (25%) – Conduct credit checks, proactively follow up on outstanding invoices, and ensure timely payments. Track debtor days and escalate overdue accounts where necessary. Build strong relationships with customers to improve payment reliability.

Sales Ledger & Order Processing (20%) – Ensure all invoices are correctly generated and recorded. Verify sales orders against contracts, ensuring accuracy on every line item before processing.

Xero Bank Reconciliations – Perform daily reconciliations across multiple accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

Budget Oversight – Monitor and track spending on training, travel, and marketing. Work with team leads to verify costs, flag anomalies, and suggest cost-saving measures.

Freelancer Payments – Act as the key point of contact for contractor invoices, ensuring prompt processing, verifying work completion, and resolving any payment queries.
