Job Description
A highly regarded financial planning firm based in Ayr, with a first class reputation in the market that offer true holistic advice to a diverse range of clients have an vacancy due to increased workloads to work alongside the director. Expansion, ever increasing new business levels has meant they need an additional member of their close knit team – whether senior IFA admin or paraplanner. Team fit is vital and as a result they can be flexible about the role.
You will mainly be providing support directly to the MD. Depending on level of experience, you will prepare valuation reports, maintain internal data bases, process new business and deal with both internal and client queries. You will navigate and transact on financial provider’s websites, attaining policy information from providers etc whilst working alongside the other administrative staff/paraplanner(s)
To be considered you must have an understanding of the market and compliance requirements, with the ability to manage time effectively, maximising the profitability of your work and be highly organised. You will be committed to personal development and the development of your technical skills.
Excellent systems/ IT knowledge is important, ideally with cash flow exposure and ideally experience in intelligent office/intelliflo. Suitable candidates will currently be working within a financial planning team with experience providing support to advisers in similar duties ideally within an IFA practice or Investment Manager and perhaps have undertaken industry relevant exams with a good platform knowledge.
