We are currently looking for an electrician to carry out a fixed wire test & inspection. Also, work on nights, which is working 4 nights, Monday to Thursday from 4:30pm – 2:30am on NAECI pay rates circa 53k per annum inclusive of NAECI bonus’ + travel.
Job objectivesTo fulfil electrical test and inspection requirements in line with the current regulations and Sellafield processes in estate buildings. To ensure that the fixed wiring in estate buildings is of a safe standard and complies with current regulations.
ResponsibilitiesTo operate under full compliance with Sellafield SLSP’s in service delivery. Achieve and maintain Electrical Nominated Persons Status for both Sellafield. To always provide a high standard of workmanship and customer service within expected time, cost and quality. To liaise with customers and colleagues in a proactive and positive approach to planning and delivering work ensuring issues and concerns are escalated and dealt with. Maintain allocated work equipment, vehicles and records in accordance with company policy. To provide a clear scope for additional reactive and project work including preparation of quotations/estimates when required. To undertake work in the most efficient and cost-effective manner to deliver the best value to our customers. Identify opportunities for additional work outside the contract scope and provide feedback to team leader or line management to explore further. Complete time sheets at a prompt and submit them for review.
ExperienceA good knowledge and experience of electrical installation and of remedials work. Good knowledge and experience of electrical testing and inspections. A good knowledge of current regulations. IT experience – Microsoft, Excel
QualificationsFull clean driving licence. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical. 2391 or 2392 City & Guilds qualification #
