M&E Supervisor – Based out of Southampton covering Hampshire and surrounding areas\\n\\nSalary: £40,000 – £45,000 p/a + company van & fuel card\\n\\nWe are seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor with an electrical background and preferably a gas qualification to join our client's team. This role requires someone with strong experience in social housing kitchens and bathrooms who can effectively manage and oversee M&E operations while working 100% off the tools.\\n\\nJoin a leading UK-based property maintenance provider, offering reliable and high-quality services across Scotland, Northern/Southern England, London, and the Home Counties. They cover everything from painting and repairs to fire protection and complete refurbishments, ensuring properties are well-maintained and safe.
Key sectors, including education, healthcare, housing, and retail.\\n\\nYour Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Lead and supervise the M&E team, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard\\n\\n * Conduct quality snagging and ensure work is properly ticked off\\n\\n * Deliver toolbox talks and provide guidance to team members\\n\\n * Report directly to contract managers with updates on progress and any issues\\n\\n * Be flexible and travel to various sites as required\\n\\n * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards\\n\\n * Manage, measure, and monitor operatives and subcontractors\\n\\n * Ensure safe vehicle usage, report accidents, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and stock\\n\\n * Conduct employee investigations and reviews\\n\\n * Manage absences and return-to-work interviews\\n\\n * Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses\\n\\nThe successful candidate will have:\\n\\n * Strong electrical background (essential)\\n\\n * Gas qualification (preferred)\\n\\n * Experience in social housing projects, particularly kitchens and bathrooms\\n\\n * Proven ability to manage and supervise a team effectively\\n\\n * Strong understanding of quality control and snagging processes\\n\\n * Ability to conduct toolbox talks and liaise with senior management\\n\\n * Willingness to travel to multiple sites as needed\\n\\n * Must hold a recognised Electrical or Mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant Electrical or Mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience\\n\\n * IOSH Managing Safely\\n\\n * SSSTS (preferably)\\n\\nBenefits of working with our client:\\n\\n * 40 hours per week\\n\\n * A pension\\n\\n * 33 Days Holiday\\n\\n * Life Assurance\\n\\n * Sick Pay\\n\\n * An annual bonus scheme\\n\\n * Paid mileage with company van
