This role is a job share working 15 hours per week

We are recruiting for a Point of Care Testing Manager who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

Located in the Pathology department, the post holder will have operational oversight and autonomy for all Point of Care Testing (PoCT) and Rapid Respiratory Testing within the Trust. It is an overarching role facilitating the comprehensive management, compliance monitoring and reporting on all PoCT devices throughout Medway NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) in line with local and national accreditation, clinical governance and risk management requirements.

The post holder will additionally manage the provision of the Rapid Respiratory Testing Service having oversight of the rapid testing laboratory (based in ED) and staff employed to provide the 24/7 service.
