We believe in providing our services through a simple, flexible, and scalable platform. How will you add to the OpenPayd journey? Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify and address any compliance issues promptly; Assist in responding to compliance queries and managing regulatory investigations or reviews; Stay abreast of changes in UK and EU regulations and communicate relevant updates on potential impacts to internal stakeholders; Assist in regulatory reporting, ensuring timely submission of reports to the FCA and other relevant authorities; Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and ensure completeness and accuracy in reporting; Work closely with the legal and global compliance team to develop and update internal policies and procedures in line with regulatory updates; Ensure that all employees are aware of and adhere to compliance policies; Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks; Develop and implement strategies to minimize the company’s exposure to regulatory and compliance issues; Provide training to employees on compliance best practices; Foster a culture of compliance awareness within the Company; Provide ad-hoc compliance advice to business divisions where required; Undertake other responsibilities necessary for the proper performance of the role. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business, or a related field; 3+ years’ experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the financial industry; In-depth knowledge of UK regulatory requirements, particularly those related to the financial industry; Strong people skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in teams and on complex programs; Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and in particular to be able to present credibly and professionally to senior management; Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
