Stores Operative

Join an industry-leading manufacturer in Chapel-en-le-Frith and play a key role in warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Storesperson to work in a well-organised, efficient environment in the High Peak where accuracy and attention to detail are valued. What’s on offer? * £13.74 – £15.90 per hour * Rotating shift pattern * Mon – Thu | 5am – 2:30pm / 2:30pm – 12am * Overtime available at an enhanced rates * Employee pension contribution scheme * 25 days holiday * Death in service: x2 annual salary * Employee healthcare scheme * Annual company events What will you be doing as a Storeperson? * Unload, inspect, and book incoming goods into the business system * Report discrepancies found during goods receipt * Ensure safe vehicle movement in and out of the site * Conduct daily Health & Safety checks on equipment * Store goods in correct locations and assign storage for new parts * Pick components for internal transfers and replenish stock as required * Participate in regular stock checks What do you need? * Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment * IT proficiency, including experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Epicor) * FLT Counterbalance/pedestrian truck experience (advantageous) * NVQ Level 2/3 in Storage & Warehousing (desirable) Apply today or speak with Meg at KPJ Group for more information between 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday.
