We are looking for adedicated and experienced Deputy Managerto support the daily operations of achildrens residential home . This is a rewarding opportunity to provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of carers, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding for young people. Key Responsibilities Assist theRegistered Managerin overseeing the day-to-day running of the childrens home. Ensurehigh-quality care , safeguarding, and development opportunities for residents. Supervise, mentor, and support thestaff team , ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. Lead by example, promoting apositive, nurturing environmenttailored to each young persons needs. Overseecare plans , risk assessments, and incident reporting to ensure effective care delivery. SupportOfsted inspections , ensuring compliance withChildrens Home Regulations and Quality Standards . Liaise with external professionals, includingsocial workers, educators, and healthcare providers . Requirements Level 3 Diplomain Residential Childcare (or equivalent), with willingness to work towardsLevel 5 . Experience inchildrens residential carewith leadership or supervisory experience. Strong understanding ofsafeguarding, child protection, and trauma-informed care . Excellentcommunication and leadership skills , with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
