Job Description
Are you looking for your next career move in NDT sales? Perhaps you’ve considered making the leap from working on the tools to being out in the field in NDT sales?\\n\\nNDT Personnel is excited to present an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading suppliers of radiography sources, consumables, and ancillaries, as an NDT Technical Sales Executive. Having recently experienced significant growth and rapid expansion across its business, our client is recruiting for a tenacious individual to join its established sales team to drive its plan for continued growth and development of sales across the UK.\\n\\nAs NDT Technical Sales Executive, your role offers a blended style of working and a comprehensive approach to all aspects of sales, business development, and customer service.
Being home-based, the position is autonomous and allows for plenty of interaction with customers, giving the person boundless opportunities to get in the thick of looking after established customers as well as generating new business right from the initial visit, through the complete sales process and beyond. You’ll provide technical support across a range of NDT product lines, will actively demonstrate NDT equipment to customers (with all the right training provided from the get-go, of course), and will work closely with the company’s NDT team to provide invaluable insight into customers’ needs and innovations.\\n\\nOur client places a huge importance on providing unparallelled customer service bolstered by technical confidence, which is why this position offers a rare chance to encourage people with a demonstrable, hands-on on background in radiography and commercial competency to apply to this post.\\n\\nWe’re interested in speaking to people with the following attributes/experience:\\n\\n * Can-do attitude, with an industrious approach to sales and comfortable to work in a hybrid role, both on the road and working from home.\\n\\n * Ability to harness technical knowledge in a ‘grounded’ way with customers.\\n\\n * Either previous sales or applications experience in radiography\\n\\n * OR someone who has worked in the field of NDT as a radiographer at a senior level, or experienced in applications, and is interested in forging a career in sales.\\n\\n * Genuinely motivated by the buzz of nailing targets and achieving results.\\n\\n * Confident with great communication skills.\\n\\n * An RPS qualification would be useful (but not essential) for aspects of local rules for this post, as would knowledge of the safety and regulations of transporting high activity sources.\\n\\n * Experience / knowledge of x-ray is essential, and knowledge of gamma would be beneficial to this position, but not a prerequisite.\\n\\nThis is an exciting and personally rewarding prospect to join a company with hungry growth plans, and a business with a highly reputed name in the field of NDT and industrial applications. Given the locality of our client’s bases, the ideal person will be based in the Midlands or Oxfordshire area, although we will consider applications from people based anywhere in the UK.
The package includes a salary of between £45k-£50k (depending on experience), enhanced holiday entitlement of 25 days per annum, company bonus scheme, and monthly company car allowance or company vehicle will also be provided.\\n\\nIf you’re galvanised for a new challenge and interested in pushing your career to the next level, please send your CV to us and arrange a confidential, in-depth discussion about the role.
