Finance Business Partner – Normanton – £55,000

A truly exciting opportunity for a hands-on qualified CIMA/ ACCA finance professional has arisen at a large prestigious manufacturing client with a key site based in Normanton, West Yorkshire. This is a chance for the right person to develop and grow their career in a changing and fast-moving environment. As Finance Business Partner, you will support provide financial support the Operations and field teams, as well as developing new ways off working in the newest part of the operations division.

The role of Operational Finance Business Partner will take on a number of responsibilities including:
Responsibility for multiple cost centres – complete period end journals to ensure the P&L is accurate, act as the key contact/support for the managers by providing accurate, user friendly reporting and ad-hoc analysis
Develop and embed weekly KPI reporting for analysing costs, as well as educating stakeholders on strong financial performance
Develop strong business partner relationships with key operational stakeholders and field teams, including Regional Managers and Directors
Prepare operational budgets & forecasts for field, with detailed explanation of key drivers against prior year
Develop and embed a Contract job costing process to include liaising with Contracts Division to provide bespoke job quotes and monitoring of the potential contract lead bank
Financial Training and Awareness; develop financial awareness to the field management, planning and operations teams.
Ad-hoc project work to support business decisions usually involving engaging with stakeholders across the group.
The ideal Finance Business Partner will be:
Finalist or Qualified CIMA/ ACCA Accountant
You will have a hands-on and structured approach – be enthusiastic and be looking to develop and grow within the role
You will also need excellent communication skills and have the ability to give non financial managers finance understanding
Have a passion for getting involved in the wider business and driving site performance
You must be IT literate, specifically on excel and ERP systems
Change management or continuous improvement mentality
