We are seeking a skilled CMM Inspector to join our Quality Control team. This role is crucial in supporting our manufacturing processes by ensuring the quality and precision of both internally produced and supply chain products. You will be responsible for reviewing and improving CMM programs, conducting inspections, and supporting the Quality Team in maintaining our manufacturing standards.Working HoursMonday to Thursday: 7:30/8:00 AM – 4:15/5:00 PMFriday: 7:30/8:00 AM – 11:30 AM/12:00 PMOvertime and additional shifts may be requiredKey ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections using Zeiss Calypso and PC-DMIS systemsDevelop CMM programs from CAD models and verify against engineering drawingsConduct AS9102 First Article Inspections and CMM Program Prove OutsCollaborate with the Quality Team to enhance manufacturing processesSupport lean initiatives and cost reduction activitiesCalibrate inspection equipmentUse hand tools such as micrometres, height gauges, and shadow graphsProvide technical support for new product introductions (NPI)Perform manual inspections using hand tools and vision systemsProvide technical support and training for Operator InspectorsNon-conformance report writingSupport drawing reviewsSupplier visitsProvide support for investigations with complicated solutionsProvide cross-functional inspection support for other areas of the Quality departmentSkills and ExperienceAerospace experience is a plusZeiss and PC-DMIS, OGPOn/Offline CMM Programming with the use of CAD modelsCMM prove out and report verification and calibrationCMM break down and machine supportFirst Article measurements for complex parts and assembliesFirst Article report generation (Q-Pulse)Strong ability to interpret engineering drawingsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively at all levelsAnalytical abilities to drive Root Cause and Corrective Action to tackle difficult technical challengesExposure to PPAP and APQP processes would be an advantageSecurity ClearanceClearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
