TUI Airline, part of the world’s leading integrated tourism group, is seeking a strategic leader for our Airline Commercial Senior Leadership Team. As Director of Network Planning & B2B Sales, you’ll drive our airline’s growth and profitability across multiple countries. You’ll oversee network design, route planning, and B2B partnerships, leading a multinational team to optimize our commercial capabilities. ABOUT THE JOB
- Develop and implement customer-centric, profitable network structures across all TUI Airline AOCs.
- Lead airport relations and B2B sales strategies to maximize incentives and optimize commercial agreements.
- Optimise flight schedules and manage slot portfolio to ensure efficient fleet utilisation.
- Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships, including codeshare and interline agreements.
- Drive initiatives to increase seat sales through B2C and B2B channels.
- Collaborate with regional teams to align network strategy with commercial business goals.
- Analyse market trends to identify new route and market opportunities.
- Oversee financial modeling and budgeting for network planning and B2B sales.
- Lead a multinational team of approximately 30 professionals across various functions.
- Serve as the empowered Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for internal and external B2B partners.
ABOUT YOU
- Significant experience in airline network design and B2B sales, particularly in touristic markets.
- Deep understanding of scheduling, slot management, and airline profitability drivers.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities, capable of influencing senior leaders across markets and functions.
- Strategic thinking and analytical prowess, with experience in financial modeling and performance metrics.
- Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in network planning software and standard IT tools.
- Established network with European and preferably intercontinental airport sales teams.
- Experience in negotiating airport incentive agreements and managing partnerships.
- Adaptable problem-solver with a strong commercial drive.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
