Sales Support Administrator Location: Essex Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Are you looking to join a dynamic and growing company with a strong reputation in the freight forwarding and logistics industry? Our client is seeking a motivated Sales Support Administrator to join their UK Sales team and play a key role in driving business success. About the Role Due to increased global growth, our client is expanding their UK Sales team and requires a dedicated individual to manage sales leads, support the field sales team, and contribute to the company’s continued success. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and professional environment, where you will play a vital role in sales coordination and administration. Key Responsibilities * Manage sales lead generation and initiate contact with potential clients via phone and email. * Liaise with the field sales team regarding warm leads and follow-ups. * Assist the Head of Sales in data gathering, reporting, and database management. * Maintain an organised follow-up system for calls and emails. * Communicate key information to the external sales team. * Ensure accurate input of sales activity into CRM and reporting systems. * Conduct cold calls to potential new clients and build a strong portfolio. * Maintain and update the SharePoint database with customer rates. * Compile monthly reports on new accounts won by the sales team. * Monitor stock levels of sales materials and place new orders as required. What We’re Looking For * Experience in a Sales Administration or Sales Support role (preferred). * Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines. * Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Understanding of logistics processes is an advantage (training provided).
