Senior Scientist

You are an analytical chemist who can develop methods to analyse complex molecules (proteins, polymers, nucleic acids, etc).

We are working with a rapidly growing biotech based in Cambridge that has raised over £25 million and announced a huge strategic partnership with big pharma to build the next generation of polymer nanovesicles for gene therapy drug delivery. They have developed unique polymer nanotechnology that has the potential to encapsulate and release drugs on hard to reach targets far beyond difficult biological barriers (e.g. the blood brain barrier).

The make-up of their technology is incredibly complex. They are looking for a world class analytical chemist capable of driving their methods development and to help build out their analytics platform.

Working in a small biotech will give you ownership over your work, exposure to senior leadership, and opportunities for scientific and professional development and progression.
