A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a respected and growing Employment Law team based in Norfolk. This role is ideal for someone with at least two years’ post-qualification experience who is looking to take the next step in their career, deepen their expertise, and play an active role in client development and team growth.

The Role

You’ll work on a broad range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious, advising employer and employee clients across various sectors. You’ll enjoy a high level of client contact and be given responsibility for managing your own caseload, with the support of experienced colleagues when needed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Advising clients on all aspects of employment law, including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancy, settlement agreements, and tribunal claims
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and other employment documentation
  • Managing client relationships from initial instruction to conclusion, including billing and ongoing communication
  • Leading on cases with appropriate supervision, and collaborating with colleagues on complex matters
  • Ensuring compliance with internal file management procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting business development and contributing to the growth of the practice
  • Liaising with Partners to update on case progress and strategic direction
  • Representing clients in tribunal proceedings and assisting with the preparation of litigation strategies

About You

  • At least 2 years’ PQE in employment law, with a strong understanding of both contentious and non-contentious work
  • Confident in managing a varied caseload independently, while knowing when to seek guidance
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills, with a practical and commercial approach to problem-solving
  • Proactive, organised, and committed to delivering excellent client service
  • A collaborative team player who is keen to contribute to a positive working culture and the team’s continued success
