You will work closely with colleagues, and industry partners in other technical disciplines, to assist in the delivery of project work.Key ResponsibilitiesField work logisticsCompilation of regular site reportsProvide onsite guidance to contractorsManaging and communicating with key stakeholders whilst encouraging a high level of environmental protectionUsing Microsoft Word and Excel, digital photography and infield technologyOperate in a variety of environments such as remote areas or operational construction sitesSupporting office management and administrative tasksKey CompetenciesAt least 1.5 or more years proven Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) or Ecology experienceUnder/postgraduate degree in Ecology, Environmental Management or a related disciplineExperience of working under Scottish and/or UK legislationMembership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and/or of the Association of Environmental and Ecological Clerks of Works (AEECoW)Confident in habitat and protected species ecologyAn understanding of current environmental legislation, policy trends, guidance and regulatory frameworksThe ability to work as a team and individuallyGood time management and record keepingA full UK drivers licenceThe ability to operate a 4×4 vehicle safely is desirable.What\’s in it for youSalary up to £38,000 depending on experienceInvestment in your training and successFull project lifecycle across a range of environmental disciplinesHybrid workingEstablished benefits of working with a dynamic and growing organisationGenerous holiday allowanceTraining allowanceCompany Pension contributionFlexible weekly working hours promoting work-life balanceFull time / Part time consideredWhat\’s next?APPLY NOW if you\’re interested or would at least like to know a bit more then please apply or contact Jim at CleanTech Talent for a confidential call.
