Metroline is looking for a Ramp Technician to join our Engineering team.The ramp engineer is responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicle ramps fitted on all buses in the Metroline Travel and Metroline West fleets.Main ResponsibilitiesRamp inspections.Ramp strip down and repair;Collating and planning work;Liaising with garage engineers;Updating ramp database.Essential Criteria Technically adept;Demonstrable experience in an engineering background;Computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook;Sound mechanical knowledge of PCV requirements.Competencies & SkillsAbility to prioritise workload to meet requirements;Flexibility to change priorities and resources quickly to meet the needs of the garage;Ability to work within a team and independently;Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing;Demonstrate effective listening and questioning to check understanding;Works to understand customer needs to meet and exceed expectations;Establish and maintain customer relationships.
