We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programmes that enhance the skills and performance of our sales apprentices. Apprentify was set up to energise talent to unleash its potential in the digital world. We are growing as a company and are looking at expanding our team of Sales trainers.
Responsible for delivering and continuously improving training programs, executing training, and developing/enhancing materials as required. The role is essentially to develop and support apprentices to become the very best they can be. In the simplest terms, we are there to help them at every step.
Main Duties:- Train cohorts of IT Technical Salesperson Level 3 and Sales Executive Level 4 apprentices (both new hires and existing staff) using virtual classroom software against the entirety of KSBs for the programmes identified.
- Actively support apprentices remotely and in the workplace ensuring apprentices follow the agreed programme and schedule.
- Ensure your own skill sets are kept up to date and relevant, attending training courses to further your personal development and knowledge, completing a minimum of 30 hours CPD per annum.
- Create an engaging and productive learning environment for all apprentices.
- Focus on delivering an excellent apprenticeship experience for apprentices and their employers, monitoring progress at the academy and in the workplace.
- Manage the apprentice journey, dealing with any disciplinary and classroom management issues, taking registers and reporting absence.
- Maintain appropriate tracking systems and procedures relating to quality, compliance, management and assessment.
- Be committed to Health & Safety awareness inclusive of Safeguarding and Prevent.
- Understand and follow all relevant Apprentify Policies and Processes.
- There may be face-to-face training in this role.
- Minimum of 3 yearsβ experience in role/or working in area of apprenticeship.
- To hold (or pass) an Enhanced CRB check.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding, Prevent and E&D.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and work-based learning.
- Knowledge of the current Ofsted Education Inspection Framework.
- Good track record in supporting apprentices to achieve merits/distinctions at EPA or experience of mentoring/coaching in a professional environment.
- Pastoral welfare of young people and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a flexible manner, adapt to different environments and solve problems independently.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of training and delivery in field.
- Proven experience in a sales environment, with a strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
- Teaching qualified, or willing to work towards.
- Assessor qualified, or willing to work towards.
- EPA qualified, or willing to work towards.
- Knowledge of the further education (FE) Sector and funded programmes.
- Training/mentoring/assessing experience in FE/HE/Apprenticeships.
