About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Order Processor to join our friendly Customer Support team based at our Sandtoft site in Doncaster.
The Sales Order Processor is the key link between Despatch, Customer Support and our Southern customers focusing entirely on entering sales orders onto the system efficiently and accurately. This is all against the backdrop of the Sandtoft strategy and the aim to be the best customer service provider in the market!
Main responsibilities (but not limited to);
- Entering all customer sales orders onto the SAP system quickly and accurately.
- Allocating prices from spreadsheet or project to the orders.
- To ensure that all orders are successfully passed on to keep optimum service levels.
- Ensuring the system is up to date with the latest information and you will be making sure that any urgent issues are responded to quickly.
- Checking order details with product codes, confirming customer requirements and addresses, and recording information that will help our logistics team to deliver the product on time.
About You
You will enjoy providing excellent service to your customers and you will have excellent attention to detail.
Good communication skills are essential (both written and verbal), as you’ll be communicating via email and phone regularly.
You will work well under pressure and enjoy being part of a friendly team.
You will also have:
- Ability to work on own initiative – full training will be provided for the right person
- Good analytical skills
- Experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn!
- Have a proactive approach, thinking ahead to pre-empt problems before they occur, and problem solving if they do.
- Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
- Desirable – experience in a customer service environment
Hours of Work: 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
