We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy General Manager to join our highly successful team at the Knightsbridge Hotel. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire operation, ensuring the seamless integration of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Kitchen departments. Your goal will be to meet and exceed guest expectations, maintaining the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Manage profit and loss, revenue management, and cost control to maximise profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain staff welfare and foster solid team relationships, driving a high standard of customer service.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and legal requirements for fire, hygiene, health and safety, licensing, and employment law.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth delivery of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with recruitment needs and interview processes for various positions within the hotel.
  • Attend important meetings such as General Managers, Operations, and Head of Departments meetings in the General Manager’s absence.

What you Need:

  • Previous experience in a high-end operation as an Operations Manager, Head of Department or Hotel Manager.
  • Ability to assist with daily operations and adapt to various scenarios.
  • Capability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication.
  • Genuine passion for the hospitality industry with a desire to drive the hotel’s success forward.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • High level of understanding of current hospitality trends and competitor awareness.
