This role offers a strategic position within the business, focused on driving new client acquisition and fostering long-term relationships. Sales Manager Job Overview
- Lead Generation and conversion
- Prospect and engage potential customers through research, networking, and outreach
- Partner with our Sales and Marketing Director to create tailored sales strategies
- Deliver persuasive pitches, demos, and proposals that close deals
- Own the sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation
Customer Engagement
- Travel regionally to meet clients in person and build strong, trust-based relationships
- Understand client challenges and craft solutions that align with our offerings
- Provide an exceptional first experience for new customers
- Work closely with internal sales and operations teams to ensure customers are looked after
- Seamlessly transition new customers to our Key Account Managers and Site Services Team
- Ensure smooth handovers for long-term relationship success
Sales Manager Requirements
- Proven sales or business development experience in the industrial components, consumables and services sector (MRO)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled negotiator with a strong ability to close deals
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently
Sales Manager Salary & Benefits
- £50,000 - £60,000 (negotiable)
- Company discretionary bonus
- 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
