Seize the opportunity to join this well-established business that sources, grows and delivers fresh produce to its grocery, retail customers that is high-value whilst having a positive impact on the environment. This newly created role will see you join the commercial team of the business and take on responsibility for a range of duties that will actively contribute to successful growing key accounts across a portfolio of fresh produce ingredients and herb categories. Working on-site, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues, building positive relationships to ensure that high standards are met.
Your varied, interesting and challenging role will include:
- Nurturing and building strong commercial relationships with your clients.
- Collaborating across teams to deliver availability day to day, ensuring customer confidence regarding quality and service.
- Analysing key performance metrics to support the delivery of JBP's.
- Developing and sharing specific market understanding and knowledge through analysis of competitor activity and the retail offering.
- Revising and reporting on listings, distribution and performance.
- Being a proactive contributor to the commercial team.
What we are looking for:
- A MINIMUM of at least 2 years' experience in UK agriculture or food supply chain experience in sales, category, procurement or technical.
- FMCG experience.
- An excellent communicator.
- A strong negotiator who can persuade and influence.
- Someone who is resilient, flexible and adaptable.
- IT literacy and good at analysing data.
