Job Description As a Collection and Delivery Driver for DPD, you will serve as a crucial point of contact for our customers. Your role is essential in upholding our commitment to exceptional service and timely parcel handling. This position demands a valid C1 licence, DQC, and CPC, along with a minimum of 12 months’ experience in a similar capacity. Key responsibilities include: Commence daily operations at the depot, assisting with the systematic loading of parcels. Execute a predetermined delivery and collection schedule, typically encompassing 50-60 stops within the designated area. Utilise provided equipment, such as the sack barrow/hand truck, to safely manage heavier items. Maintain a high standard of professionalism and efficiency in all customer interactions. Adhere strictly to delivery timeframes and company protocols. Demonstrate adaptability in managing route changes and addressing unforeseen circumstances. Ensure the proper handling and security of all parcels throughout the collection and delivery process. Accurately complete all necessary documentation and reporting as required by company standards. Uphold DPD’s reputation through exemplary conduct and appearance at all times. Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies. This role is integral to DPD’s operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and company performance.
