Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated sales professional with a strong understanding of the gas and chemical industry (or similar technical B2B sectors). This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building new business relationships, identifying opportunities, and strategically developing long-term partnerships.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Sales to drive business growth, leveraging your industry knowledge to engage with key decision-makers, educate them on our product offering, with a particular focus on bulk CO2. This role requires a proactive approach to company research, prospecting, and pipeline development, ensuring long-term commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with our Head of Sales
  • Enabling onboarding of prospective clients
  • Manage and nurture a sales pipeline, ensuring strong follow-up and relationship-building.
  • Position our products effectively by understanding customer needs and market trends.
  • Negotiate and closing deals, ensuring commercial success while maintaining long-term partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions throughout the year.
  • Conduct customer site visits and inspections where necessary.
  • Provide out-of-hours support via our emergency helpline.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales and lead generation experience.
  • Prior experience in the gas and chemical industry (or similar technical B2B sector) advantageous.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and successfully introduce new products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills desired
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Full UK driver’s license desirable, as site visits may become a key part of the role over time.
