You’re the face of Naomi House and Jacksplace, out there building strong relationships with businesses across the region the hospices serve (Hampshire & IOW, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, Surrey and West Sussex). Delivering corporate fundraising initiatives and building long term relationships, you’ll be working to ambitious targets, but as a proven fundraiser with a track record of success, you thrive on the challenge of that.

Key Responsibilities:
Income generation and financial management
- To maximize income generation from businesses across the Hospice’s geographic area.
- To develop and present relevant sponsorship packages for potential corporate sponsors which are within mission and strategy and have clearly identified delivery capacity and agreed budget.
- To ensure cost effective use of all resources and to manage and work within all pre-determined budgets.
- Utilise the Donorflex CRM database and available resources to generate data driven communication, engagement and stewardship plans to acquire new supporters and increase the giving potential of existing partners.
Relationship management
- Working in collaboration with the Senior Fundraiser (Corporate Partnerships) maintain responsibility for the account management of all corporate partnerships and provide the highest level of relationship management.
- To build strong relationships at all levels within the business community.
- To work with the Fundraising and Marketing teams, to maximise and coordinate resources so that all corporate supporters are stewarded, recognised and supported to their fullest potential.
- Utilising the Donorflex CRM database to ensure all corporate supporters receive relevant and timely communication resulting in ongoing fundraising and development of long-term corporate relationships.
New business
- Develop new corporate supporters through networking events, meetings, use of fundraising initiatives and corporate events.
- To continually research new business opportunities at specific target markets, making cold approaches and writing proposals to secure support.
- To proactively prospect all Charity of Year opportunities.
- To devise and present innovative fundraising ideas that are of mutual benefit to a corporate partner.
- To attend networking events to develop relationships with a view to securing new business.
- By using all possible resources ensure opportunities for corporate sponsorship, payroll giving, employee fundraising and all other forms of corporate fundraising are promoted correctly.
- To work with colleagues across the organisation to identify warm contacts to engage with corporate activities.
Reporting
- To produce monthly reports for the Head of Fundraising that outline progress and achievements within practical and financial guidelines.
- To participate in regular fundraising meetings, report and collaboratively engage in cross-team project updates.
General
- To represent the charity to corporate audiences and at corporate events, delivering pitches and presentations.
- Recruit and manage corporate volunteers utilising skills and resources available, working with other Trust personnel as appropriate.
- To work with colleagues, in particular community and events, to ensure coordinated approaches with supporters.
- To understand and adhere to the values and objectives of Naomi House & Jacksplace.
- To work in partnership with all other departments across Naomi House & Jacksplace ensuring activities are integrated and communicated appropriately ensuring the public image of the charity is maintained and enhanced.
- To keep informed on market trends and developments in the corporate sector.
- To be aware of and adhere to the Fundraising Codes of Conduct and Codes of Best Practice.
- To carry out any other duties as required by the Fundraising Management Team.
Hours and Benefits:
This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. You will work Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required.
This role offers hybrid work, working 3 days in the office at our Hospices in Sutton Scotney, and 2 days remotely. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel around the region to meet business leaders, donors and supporters.
Salary – up to £30,000 FTE, dependent upon experience.
