Pacific International is partnering with a global leader in electrical power solutions manufacturing. With a steeped history of innovation, the organisation is looking for a strategically minded Quality Director with a progressive change management and growth mindset. You will be overseeing quality and operational excellence for a division with sites across the EMEA region, with a focus on achieving ‘Best in Class’ status while maintaining a growth mindset. The right candidate will have experience working in industries such as data centers, power grids, utilities or a similar technical electrical field. You will be leading a large direct and indirect teams in a matrix organisation, with sites across Germany, the UK, BENELUX and the Nordics, and so the right candidate must be located in those countries. Responsibilities Developing & executing the Quality and OPEX Strategy for plants across EMEA Lead Quality Function for Product Line to develop and deploy BU Quality Strategy through the entire E2E Value Stream Drive key performance metrics, including: Customer satisfaction, Cost Out, manufacturing / supplier quality Provide functional leadership to all division and plant operations and standardize best practices Identify current and future needs with regional and division leadership teams Drive all quality management systems and continuous improvement systems across EMEA region Represent the organization in Corporate councils Develop high-performance teams through coaching and mentoring Product Lines from $100m to $140m Responsibility for 15-20 direct reports Requirements Master’s degree in engineering or relevant discipline preferred, especially electrical engineering 7+ years of experience in Data Centers, Power Grid or Utilities business in quality functions 5+ years of experience in functional leadership Relevant certifications (E.G., CQE, CMQ, Six Sigma, Black Belt) preferred Knowledge and experience in all Quality Functions: Customer Quality, Design Quality, Product & Process Quality, System Quality, in addition to ISO Certification Track record of successful leadership in cross-regional and multicultural teams in large matrixed organizations Experience in driving organizational change and continuous improvement strategies Progressive operational excellence and growth mindset Based in UK, Germany, Benelux, Nordics regions Fluency in English, additional European languages a plus Willingness and ability to travel across the entire EMEA region For further information on this position and for a confidential discussion about your career please contact: Leonard Kempf Client Delivery Manager Leonard.kempf@pacific-international.com About Pacific International: Pacific International, a globally recognized retained executive search firm, is dedicated to empowering Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and high-growth enterprises in building exceptional C-suite, senior-level, and strategic leadership teams while championing diversity and inclusion.
