About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planner with experience working on a Wind Farm to join our team for an exciting 12-month contract. This position is outside IR35, providing you with the flexibility and autonomy to apply your expertise to a significant renewable energy initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Coordinate planning activities and ensure alignment with project milestones and objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Prepare regular status reports and updates for stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Planner on an offshore wind farm project.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
  • Previous experience working for the developer on a wind farm project or a major package within a wind farm project.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of offshore wind farm construction processes and challenges.
  • Experience in risk management and mitigation within large-scale projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
