A leading food business is on the lookout for a proactive, detail-driven Quality Co-Ordinator to join their technical team! If you’ve got a sharp eye for standards, a passion for food safety, and the confidence to lead from the front — this could be your next big move.

You’ll be a key player in upholding and advancing food safety, quality, hygiene, and compliance standards. You’ll take charge of the QA team, oversee internal audits, troubleshoot non-conformances, and keep systems running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the QA team — coaching, rota planning, and performance reviews
  • Oversee audits, food safety checks, and GMP compliance
  • Drive product quality through effective monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Own and update food safety documentation, SOPs, and training materials
  • Liaise closely with production and hygiene to ensure top-tier standards across the site
  • Take the lead on data analysis and trend reporting — you’ll know what’s happening before anyone else does
  • Support internal training and help embed a culture of quality across the business
What You’ll Need:Essential:
  • 1+ year’s supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Level 2 Food Safety and HACCP
  • A hands-on attitude with the confidence to coach and support others
  • Strong understanding of food safety legislation, audit standards and GMP
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and databases (especially Excel)
  • Ability to analyse problems, find root causes and take action
  • Great communicator with a sharp eye for detail and excellent organisation skills
