A leading manufacturing and assembly business based in Oxfordshire, supplying a range of sectors, is seeking a Quality Systems Manager. Working on a hybrid basis, you will proactively support and implement best practice for compliances across the site and its systems. This is a permanent role.
Salary: £63,000 - £70,000 p.a. plus excellent suite of benefits including option for car allowance/company car, family level private medical, generous annual leave entitlement, bonus scheme and pension.
The Role
- The Quality Systems Manager will strive to achieve compliance and adherence to the relevant standards and regulations in place across a busy manufacturing environment encompassing both sustained production and new product development areas.
- The Quality Systems Manager will standardise the procedures and create the core operational processes to achieve full adherence.
- You will monitor compliance and set and develop the relevant KPIs to achieve compliance and maintain it, through both logical operating procedures and excellent communication and engagement across the business.
- The Quality Systems Manager will take an overarching responsibility for the quality, environmental, health and safety aspects of the operation.
The Person
- The successful candidate will possess a proven record in manufacturing quality including both quality engineering and quality systems management.
- You will be well versed in implementing and sustaining ISO accreditations and have a demonstrable background in quality auditing and the successful implementation of quality systems.
- The Quality Systems Manager will work across all areas of the business encompassing manufacturing, NPI, design, office functions and relevant data management compliances.
- A pedigree in creating lean improvements in a manufacturing business is highly sought after for the role in addition to a communication style that is both engaging and accessible to all areas of the business.
