Field Service Engineer

We are looking to hire a Field Service Engineer in the PA or G post code area.

What We Offer:

1. To find, diagnose and rectify faults on customer FLT’s as deemed necessary, with all that this entails, and order the necessary spare parts as efficiently as possible.
2. To adhere to all company H&S and Environmental site policies, procedures, and practices to ensure we operate in an environmentally safe workplace.
3. Ensure K1SS and all paperwork/IT systems are completed accurately and within the stipulated time period and with the relevant order numbers.
4. Liaise with the first line of management for authorisation of parts and process order numbers accordingly.
5. Work under own initiative without constant supervision.
6. To ensure all allocated work is adhered to and to notify Manager or Controller if in arrears.
7. Ensure that the specified Engineering Standards and Safe Working Practices and all Company Policies and Procedures are followed at all times.
8. To ensure that all stock levels/movement records are accurate and correct.
9. To obtain hour meter readings/site information as requested by Controllers.
10. Ensure all company issued equipment is kept in a satisfactory condition and report any failures.
11. To take on any reasonable additional duties as required by the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Tasks And Qualifications:

1. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent associated occupation.
2. Electrical hydraulic and/or mechanical competencies.
3. Hold a full and valid driving licence.
