HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist - UK Wide - Multiple Locations

£60 - £90 per hour (no admin!)

Zero hours – minimum required: 8 hours per week. Hours – flexible around you and your current place of work – Weekdays, evenings and weekends available. Work the hours that suit you. Fuel cost expensed. On site clinic work and remote report writing – with clinics available across the county. Applicants anywhere in England considered. You will cover the nearest clinics to you.

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist who is HCPC Registered with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our client’s professional team on an ad hoc zero-hour contract. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be conducting medico-legal assessments and delivering evidence-based therapeutic treatments to a client base, following personal injury related claims. A medical secretary will be allocated to write up medico reports, based on instructions from Solicitors involved in client’s personal injury cases. The position offers flexible working alongside your current role, as an additional income, or alongside studies. You can work anything from 8 hours or more per week, to suit you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological evaluations for personal injury, immigration, and criminal cases.
  • Assess and report on a variety of psychological symptoms, including PTSD, anxiety, flashbacks, and depression. A structured pro-forma will be provided for completion.
  • Medical secretaries will transcribe assessment reports. You will review and validate the final reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) treatment as required on a case-by-case basis.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical psychology experience.
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools.
  • Experience in medico-legal reporting is an advantage but not essential.
