Payroll Specialist – EMEA
Talent Junction has been engaged to support our growing client in the city by hiring an experienced EMEA Payroll Specialist to look after a growing portfolio of payrolls.
Role Summary
As a Payroll Specialist, you will oversee the preparation, input, and reconciliation of multiple UK and international payrolls while ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax authorities. You ll work closely with the Global Head of Payroll and regional payroll teams to streamline processes, ensure accuracy, and drive payroll transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing for regions across UK, US, APAC and EMEA.
- Support other international payrolls as needed.
- Collaborate with external payroll providers to resolve issues and optimise processes.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee payroll inquiries.
- Maintain accurate payroll systems and records.
- Ensure correct payments, reports, and returns to tax authorities both in the UK and globally.
- Lead or assist with projects aimed at streamlining payroll processes and implementing automation.
- Contribute to HRIS and payroll transformation initiatives.
- Provide expert payroll advice and handle ad hoc projects.
- Take on additional duties as requested by the company.

- Experience: 10+ years of expertise in UK payroll regulations and end-to-end payroll processing for multiple UK and international payrolls.
- Technology: Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Cloudpay
- Process Management: Strong background in project methodologies and managing multiple payroll-related initiatives.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in regulated environments and awareness of risk and compliance standards.
