About the Role:
The Estimator will be working on a varied selection of tender opportunities across all industry sectors that will increase in technical complexity, size and value as your abilities and
experience in the role grow.
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a member of the Design and Estimating team, the Estimator will:
- Develop a thorough understanding of company design standards, specialized equipment, service offerings, and commercial processes to support unique market positioning.
- Prepare comprehensive project plans, scopes of work, and pricing for bids.
- Post-bid, engage in follow-ups, mid-tender interviews, presentations, and commercial negotiations to secure the project.
- Attend site-specific pre-start meetings, documenting all contractual and service agreements reached.
- Conduct a detailed handover to the contracts team, upon project award.
- Handle Initial document review to ensure that you have all the required tender information noting any shortfalls, with further communication with the clients to effectively establish their requirements, ensuring sufficient information to produce a competitive and compliant bid.
- Visit clients to gather information and to make positive relations ensuring that both the site conditions and project requirements are fully understood.
- Carry out calculations and cost build up to produce a well, constructed and presentable bid document.
