Monday to Friday: 8am-4pm (37.5 hours a week)
Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a Financial Controller to join their industry-leading business based in North Kent. This pivotal role is an excellent opportunity for the appointed candidate to really make it their own and add to the continuous success and growth of the company!
Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Preparation of management accounts
• Prepayments & Accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cashflow reporting
• Attending monthly meetings with the Directors and providing analysis of monthly findings
• Preparation of yearly Budgets with Directors
• Preparation of monthly Payroll including P11Ds, VAT, CIS, year-end etc.
• Line management of 1 direct report initially, with the scope to grow the team
The successful candidate will:
• Be ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified, or part way through their studies (and still studying)
• Have previous experience in a similar role
• Be an ambitious individual who is willing to continuously learn and grow with the business
• Ideally have experience within the construction industry (or similar)
• Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
