Job Description:

Our client is a successful global asset manager with a focus on private markets funds. They are hiring a Marketing Automation Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Lead the rollout of the firm’s marketing campaign management automation tools including Salesforce and Pardot, managing implementation and providing global training.
  2. Develop, manage, execute and optimise email marketing programmes to support multi-channel efforts including events, webinars, promotions, prospecting and retention marketing initiatives.
  3. Work with stakeholders to create customised contact strategies for different client segments.
  4. Develop and implement engagement scoring and lead management strategies.
  5. Help to manage the firm’s martech stack.
  6. Build best practices, infrastructure and processes for email and direct mail management and utilise campaign management tools effectively.
  7. Develop test and learn plans to optimise targeting, creative and marketing messages.
  8. Manage relationships with external production agencies.
  9. Track, monitor and report on campaign KPIs.
  10. Gather insights and document best practices from previous campaigns to continuously improve future campaign performance.
  11. Develop and manage a change management programme with the introduction of new processes for marketing automation.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, possess advanced knowledge of marketing automation, a good understanding of Pardot, proven experience of creating and launching large scale email and direct marketing campaigns, a good understanding of developing contact strategies, the full customer journey, marketing touch points and engagement scoring, strong analytical skills, the ability to measure campaign KPIs and optimise performance to maximise ROI, demonstrable experience of creating email experiences for specific segments, excellent communication and project management skills and the ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines within a fluctuating and demanding workload.
