The Company
Our client provides integrated subsea services, with a team expert in offshore operations who deliver reduced project risk, increased efficiency and improved safety performance. They are currently experiencing a period of growth and development, and as part of this, a fantastic new role has opened up to head up the management of significant subsea and offshore projects, reporting directly to the Divisional Director.
The Role
We are looking for a high-level Lead/Senior PM or Project Director with strong experience of delivering high-value EPIC projects in the Subsea Oil & Gas and Offshore industries. Experience leading projects with technology such as umbilicals, risers etc. would be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of industry experience including at Senior/Lead level, with at least 5 years delivering subsea-related projects.
- Education: A relevant university degree in Subsea, Marine, Naval Architecture, Structural or Offshore Engineering (Experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications).
- T&I and EPIC Contracts: Experience delivering high value EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning) contracts.
- Project Management Leadership: Proven leadership and experience in managing projects, with a strong understanding of project performance metrics (budget, schedule, quality, and safety). Leadership of teams of Project Managers.
- Process Development: Experience in developing and maintaining standard project management processes.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
Personal Skills:
- Strong organizational, management, leadership and communication skills.
- Confidence, self-motivation, and discipline.
- Excellent technical and interpersonal skills to facilitate team interaction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
