RECfinancial is exclusively partnering with a Leicestershire-based global business in their search to appoint a Senior Financial Accounting Manager. The role is based in an impressive office which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby, Northamptonshire and Coventry / Warwickshire.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will lead a team of 4 and be responsible for the firm’s group financial reporting function. Tasks will include:
- Overseeing the production of the businesses statutory accounts and year end.
- Partnering with the internal audit team and being the point of contact for the external audit.
- Managing long range cashflow / funding.
- Overseeing the monthly accounts pack and its distribution.
- Limited exposure to budgeting and forecasting.
The role will take an active lead in process improvements and reporting developments to make the department a world-class function. The role would suit a candidate who is career motivated and potentially looking to progress into a Financial Director role in the future.
Candidates who are qualified in either the ACA or ACCA qualification will be considered for the role, and your initial experience will come from working within practice / audit with ideally exposure to FTSE 100 or FTSE 250 businesses.
