Job Overview A highly skilled Quantity Surveyor is sought to join a growing team based in Farnham, responsible for managing the contractual and financial aspects of construction projects. The organisation operates as a main contractor, property developer, and house builder, delivering a range of residential projects throughout Surrey, Hampshire, and West Sussex. Projects include high-end new builds and extensive refurbishments. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed cost estimates and project budgets Conduct feasibility studies to assess requirements for materials, labour, and time Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor tenders Oversee project costs and contractual obligations through all project stages Maintain precise financial records and manage overall project finances Provide expert guidance on contractual claims and dispute resolution Requirements A degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar field is beneficial but not essential Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry Strong analytical and numerical abilities High attention to detail Proficiency in cost control and contract management Projects are located across Surrey, Hampshire, and West Sussex, and some travel will be required.
