Qualified Accountant Our client is a leading, successful, and well-established firm of accountants, due to their continued growth, and development they are seeking to employ a Qualified Accountant for their Kings Lynn office. Overview of the role: As a Practice Accountant, you will be exposed to a wide variety of accounting and tax areas. For example, accounts for companies, sole traders and partnerships, audits, tax computations and tax returns, VAT returns, CIS returns, etc. Additionally, you will help mentor the junior members of the team. Hours will be: 37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday Location – Kings Lynn Salary – competitive depending on experience. As a Practice Accountant, you will be exposed to a wide variety of accounting and tax areas. For example, accounts for companies, sole traders and partnerships, audits, tax computations and tax returns, VAT returns, CIS returns, etc. Additionally, you will help mentor the junior members of the team. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong relationships with them Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards Conduct regular financial analysis and forecasting to provide expert advice to clients Collaborate with other team members to ensure client needs are met in a timely and efficient manner Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and potential issues Skills & Experience ACA or ACCA qualified Strong IT skills with experience using Xero, Sage, Quickbooks and IRIS preferrable Proven experience in client handling A strong work ethic with commitment to delivering an excellent service An innate drive to ensure the value and integrity of the business is always upheld An ability to work to deadlines Package Competitive salary plus additional benefits subject to experience 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays Salary sacrifice available for pension contributions Life Assurance (death in service) Sick Pay after qualifying period Employee Benefits Scheme Employee Assistance Programme Free car parking Length of service recognition Company social events paid for or subsidised by the firm Licence/Certification: • ACA or ACCA qualification (required)
