Job Title: Test Analyst
Responsible To: Senior Front End Developer
Mobilityways is on a mission to make zero carbon commuting a reality. We produce ground-breaking climate tech empowering large employers to measure, reduce and report on their commuter emissions.
As an exceptional Test Analyst within our product development team you will bring a deep understanding of quality assurance, testing lifecycle, and automated testing integrated with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, as well as supporting the organisation through processing and resolving technical helpdesk issues. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Main Duties
- Formulating and executing test activities in alignment with our organisational test strategies, policies, and practices.
- Collaborating with the product team to define acceptance criteria and ascertain testable outcomes.
- Spearheading the implementation of automation test frameworks.
- Crafting and executing test scripts, with a primary focus on automation.
- Conducting exploratory testing as a supplement to automated testing efforts.
- Documenting all QA and testing processes comprehensively.
- Capturing test metrics and generating detailed test reports for stakeholder communication.
- Identifying, managing, and resolving defects within sprint iterations.
- Investigating and analysing issues following test failures.
- Providing constructive feedback and suggestions to project, product, and stakeholder teams.
- Ownership of technical helpdesk, processing and resolving issues.
- Assist in our ongoing Customer Voice research including end user interviews and data collection.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
- Assist in our ongoing Market Analysis research.
- Coach junior members of the team.

Person Specification
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst or similar role in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Experience with Cypress.
- Experience with automated CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with C#/.Net unit tests.
- Experience with Agile practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in debugging and analysing C#, React, and Vue3 would be a bonus.
