The Tower Hamlets Arts and Music Education Service (THAMES) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic music educator to further support the development of instrumental, vocal and/or curriculum music within an award-winning music and arts service.

Key Responsibilities
- You will act as a Link Manager for a group of schools.
- Manage part of the team of instrumental/vocal and curriculum music tutors.
- Be involved in developing a wide range of performing activities for young people including concerts, projects, and other events.
- Be available for occasional (or potentially regular) work on Saturday mornings at the THAMES Saturday Music Centre, including deputising for the Head of Centre as and when required.
Requirements
The successful candidate will not only be an excellent musician and music educator but will also take a lead in developing music provision in schools. Depending on the candidate’s specialism and areas of expertise, this might include a focus on curriculum music, instrumental/vocal music, music technology, SEND provision, ensembles, and high-quality performance opportunities. Additional Information
Candidates will be asked to complete a DBS check through Tower Hamlets and take responsibility for renewing the check every three years.
