Year 1 Teacher needed in Southam to start in January part or full-time. This role doesn’t require planning!
Your new company
A village primary school in Southam is looking for a Year 1 Teacher to start in January. This school prides itself on being a happy place to be for both staff and children. They believe through Christian values that each child has the potential to love learning and unlock and conquer new challenges and be ready to progress within their learning.
Your new role
Your new job as a Year 1 teacher at this school could look one of 2 ways, depending on what you are looking for. Firstly, this role can be flexible on days, so please apply if you are looking for 3.5, 4 or 5 days per week. Secondly, this role can include you doing the planning and therefore being paid to scale from day 1 or, if you would prefer not to do the planning, they do have a PPA teacher within school that is happy to plan for the week. This would mean you would be the consistent teacher in the class, there would be a parents’ evening in February which there would be a requirement to partake in and also some contribution towards reports at the end of the year, but this would be paid additionally for your time.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this new job, you must be willing to fully immerse yourself in school life for the benefit of the children, whether you are planning for the class or not, preparation for the day and ensuring resources are set up and marking is done at the end of the day.
If you are planning, then ensuring an engaging and enriching curriculum is planned, to ensure the children are challenged and set for Year 2. Feedback to parents and carers is essential on the child’s progress and deploying LSA’s correctly to ensure interventions are delivered.
What you’ll get in return
In return, you will:
– Have a guaranteed job for the spring term and want to, then throughout the summer term as well.
– Paid to scale from day 1 if planning
– being in a long term role as a supply teacher where all the planning is given to you and paid fairly for the work being carried out
– holiday pay accrued throughout the assignment
