Working within the Physical Infrastructure Team to deliver cabling and connectivity solutions for our clients, this role will be assisting the team to deliver multiple projects across our client base whilst working closely with both the client, and our project management team.

The successful candidate will have close involvement with our client base as well as working with our existing technical team to deploy network solutions and working as part of a resolver group for technical issues and support activities when required.

This job would be perfect for someone with experience within a similar role looking for a new challenge. Activities, Duties and Key Tasks

  • Installation of Cat6 and Cat6a cabling

  • Installation of Fibre Optic cables

  • Termination of Cat6/6a and fibre Panels

  • Termination of Cat6/6a wall outlets

  • Conducting onsite cabling surveys (including detailed documentation)

  • Remote technical assistance for our Engineering teams to include installation of Switches and Routers

  • Installation of Wi-Fi devices across our network of customers

  • Site completion documentation and testing requirements

  • Assisting our NOC/Helpdesk in resolving hardware issues

General:

· Adhering to quality communication standards defined by FluidOne.

· Undertaking any other duties deemed suitable by management.

· Maintaining job related training as required by management., marital status, ethnic origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation or ageking a skilled and detail-oriented Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure systems that support our organisational needs. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking and electrical systems, as well as proficiency in various telecommunications technologies., * Design and implement network infrastructure solutions using Cisco Routers and Juniper devices.

  • Develop and review technical schematics to ensure accurate representation of system designs.

  • Utilise hand tools for installation and maintenance of networking equipment.

  • Configure Ethernet connections and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support VoIP systems, including Avaya technologies.

  • Conduct regular assessments of network performance and implement improvements as necessary.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.

  • Provide technical support for telecommunication systems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.

· CSCS certification

· Full UK driving license

Desirable:

· ECS certification

· iPaf certification

· SC Clearance

· NVVP3 certification

· Sentinel Card

· Awareness of WAN/MPLS technologies., * Proficient in Cisco Routers and Juniper networking equipment.

  • Strong understanding of computer networking principles and practices.

  • Experience with electrical systems related to infrastructure engineering.

  • Familiarity with VoIP technologies, particularly Avaya systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics accurately.

  • Competence in using hand tools for installation and maintenance tasks.

  • Knowledge of Ethernet protocols and troubleshooting methodologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
